Privacy policy
Our commitment to you: At findWellness, we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The following Privacy Policy details information outlining when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your data and how we will treat it. This covers, without limitation, your interaction with findWellness, our programme emails, meetings with our findWellness coaches, online workshops, our videos or any of our other services. By signing up for a findWellness programme, you consent to the collection and use of the information you provide to us, as outlined in this Privacy Policy. If we change our Privacy Policy, you will be updated in our programme emails. If you have any questions or concerns about our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information, please contact us at support@find-wellness.com
What this privacy policy is all about
We want to give you the best service possible. To achieve this, we collect information when you register for one of our programmes, engage with our programme emails, speak with our findWellness coaches, attend online workshops or watch video playbacks. This helps us improve these interactions and deliver the best possible programmes. Some information is provided directly by you, such as your email address, while other information may be collected automatically.
The below summarises how you may interact with us and how we treat your data. Please take time to understand this as it will affect how your data is managed and what you need to do if you have any questions or make any changes.
Voluntary data collection and use of personal information
findWellness collects personal information provided by you, including but not limited to:
- Your completion of the findWellness registration form
- The questionnaires you complete before, during and after the programmes
- Your interaction with the findWellness coaches/programme hosts
- Your participation in any live event run as part of the programme
- Your involvement in any online community offered as part of a programme, if you choose to participate.
- Your communication with us via any other platform, such as email
Personal information means any information that may be used to identify you, such as your name, title, phone number, email address, postal address, age, gender and any other relevant information you may provide. This information helps us to better understand your needs and enhance your findWellness experience. You can refuse to supply personal identification information, but doing so may prevent you from engaging in certain related activities; which we are happy to discuss with you if needed.
Live-session recordings.
Some programme sessions may be recorded and made available to programme participants. We will let you know before recording begins. If you participate using your camera, microphone or chat, your display name, image, voice, questions or messages may be included in the recording. You can choose to keep your camera and microphone turned off.
Automatic data collection
findWellness collects information when you visit any of our platforms or receive our email communications. This may include information about your device, operating system and browser type, your IP address (and the general physical location derived from it), the nature of your phone service, referring URLs, link clicks and page visits.
Use of your data
We use the personal information you provide to administer and deliver our programmes. This includes managing your registration, providing programme access, communicating with you, sending programme materials where relevant, providing support and confirming completion of programme activities.
The pre- and post-programme questionnaires ask for your name so we can confirm completion and match your responses over time. Your questionnaire responses, programme engagement, self-reported progress and feedback may then be analysed at a programme level to help us understand participants’ experiences, any changes in wellbeing and how effective the programme has been overall.
If your programme has been funded by your employer, insurer or another organisation, we may share aggregated or de-identified results and general themes from participant feedback with that organisation. We do not report individual questionnaire responses or results, or identify individual participants.
External websites and services
findWellness may provide access to websites or services operated by external partner organisations, such as My Everyday Wellbeing.
To create your My Everyday Wellbeing login, we share the limited personal information needed to set up your account, such as your name and email address. My Everyday Wellbeing is responsible for handling information within its service in accordance with its own privacy policy. Please review its privacy policy before providing any additional personal information through the platform.
Disclosure of your data
We do not sell, trade, or rent any personally identifiable information, nor do we otherwise disclose any personal information to any third party for their marketing purposes. To provide our services, your information may be accessible to authorised findWellness team members, coaches and trusted service providers that help us operate our programmes, communications and online platforms. Access is limited to what is reasonably required for each person or provider to perform their role.
Newsletters, competitions & marketing preferences
Following the completion of a findWellness programme, you will receive Making Healthy Happen, a newsletter from Claire Turnbull, approximately 1–2 times per month.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or by contacting support@find-wellness.com. Unsubscribing from Making Healthy Happen will not affect the essential emails you receive while participating in a findWellness programme.
If you enter a competition or prize draw, we will use your entry information to confirm eligibility, administer the competition, contact winners and arrange delivery of prizes.
Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to that information and ask us to correct it.
You may also ask us to delete information we no longer need, although we may be required to retain some records for legal, professional or operational reasons. To make a request or raise a privacy concern, please email support@find-wellness.com.
